Tj Turner is a Twin Cities based photographer with a decade of experience creating commercial and editorial images. He has cultivated a portfolio spanning a range of clients and subjects including menswear, portraits, lifestyle, outdoor action, food, and beverage.
A first generation descendant of the White Earth Band of Ojibwe, Tj works with nonprofits and tribal groups to document and tell the stories of other Native peoples.
Tj’s work has appeared in Minnesota Monthly, Afar, The Growler, Midwest Home, Saveur, & Meal Magazine. Commercial work includes Native American Community Development Institute, CF Moto, Xcel Energy, Hammer Made, Anishinaabe Arts Initiative, Gizhiigin Arts Incubator, University of Minnesota, US Bank Stadium, and the Minnesota Twins.
